In a blog post from 01.04.2020 I wrote that I was starting to work from home “with the hope of returning to the studio as soon as possible”. In that time I didn't know how things would change. But to be honest, this is what I like most about the volunteering year - something is constantly changing.

Beim ESK im Ausland ist man ganz weit entfernt von der Familie und den Freunden und es ist extrem wichtig, mit ihnen in Kontakt zu bleiben. Durch das Smartphone ist es heutzutage total einfach zu machen: skypen, сhatten, hinterlassen ihnen Nachrichten usw. Dies kann aber Fluch und Segen zugleich sein.

For one year (actually a bit more) I was doing my ESK in the office of SCI-Germany. Normally, I was an incoming placement officer for the workcamps, however my working life was very diverse and full of various tasks. My project is going to end soon, and this is the best possibility to reflect and recall all that has happened during this busy and exciting year. So, follow me on this journey!
