When I shared with my family and friends that I would be moving to Berlin to do a EVS project all of them said: "Oh, Berlin! It's the coolest city on Earth! You are going to party all the time!".

Well, yes.

It is one of the most interesting and fun cities I lived in and I do party a lot. But, that's just part of my experience. EVS is way more, specially in Berlin where you have a demonstration everyday. I did not come here just because of Berlin's cool bars and alternative lifestyle, I came here because it is bubbling with new ideas and everyone speaks out their ideals. That's why I also chose an activist organization to work with. I love what I do and I am terribly happy to have this year not for studying or working, but to engage in another completely experience that is EVS.
