5. JUGEND-Wettbewerb ...and the winner is...

It is an article which is already published in www.europeanyouthvoice.eu It is about my personal experiences in youth exchanges, people in EVS programme, etc. I wrote this article when I was in European Youth Voice meeting in Aachen, Germany and I am still inspired by all the people there and all the people I had met as a participant in youth exchanges and as a volunteer in one Bulgarian organization for non-formal education "FAR". I think EVS is one of the best ways to find the path to yourself and what you want to do in your life.

European Volunteer Service, der Begriff zergeht einem fast schon auf der Zunge. Um noch eine Metapher mit hineinzubringen. Meine Deutschlehrerin wäre stolz, wenn sie das wüsste. Es dauert kein Leben mehr, bis auch ich sagen kann, ich hätte eine solche Auslandserfahrung gemacht. Bis dahin kann ich nur andächtig schwärmen.

Jetzt sind schon sieben Monate von meinem EVS-Jahr in Nottingham vorüber, aber diese war gut gefüllt!

Almost everybody writes about unforgettable experiences within European Voluntary Service. About all the benefits participants could get. About all the influence on the local community through this project. About all the friends you can find and make, new countries and cultures you will meet. Ow yeah, this is about this. But there are also „challenges (trendy overused word in youthworkers society) volunteers must face. Like:
