Random Thoughts
Hello, dear Estonian friends!
Harry Potter accompanied me throughout my childhood and it is helping me conclude my master's thesis. I am close to 40 pages, which is a number I have never imagined reaching. Yet it is so strange when I read HP now. I almost get bored of it. One reason may be that I've had my thoughts on it for the past 4 months, but I think I'm reading it differently than 10 years ago. Back then I read it and re-read it constantly. It led to the point where I could actually quote a 720-page book. Today, I am ready for other stories. Don't get me wrong, I still think HP is brilliant, I recommend it to everyone. But don't limit your reading to HP alone. It limits your view of the world and creates a bubble where everything will be alright despite the hardships. Maybe that's why people love Game of Thrones. Even the heroes/main characters die. With Harry Potter the story would end, but Game of Thrones continues in spite of heroes' deaths.
Our 2nd floor refurbishment is drawing to an end. The floor will have been lain by the end of this week. After we come back from the seaside, we will assemble our bedroom. Can't wait! And after that preparations for Let's Sound Together will commence. I hope we will make the audience and, most of all, ourselves proud. I'm also writing music fervently, I even have an epic which will probably be over 10 minutes long. It sounds amazing, and that's on the MIDI sound.
Anyway, I'm writing this because I want to stay in touch with people from Estonia. Write to me if you have time. Take care, have fun.
