Wie versprochen kommt nun der zweite Teil zu meiner Arbeit.
Wenn ich nicht im Outdoor-Workshop arbeite, dann arbeite ich in einer Housing-Unit. Das ist ein Haus, in dem acht Menschen mit verschiedensten geistigen Behinderungen wohnen und rund um die Uhr von Pflegerinnen betreut werden. Ich selber bin für die Freizeitgestaltung zuständig.

Nach einer kleinen Pause melde ich mich nun hier wieder, um euch von einem Tag in meinem Alltag zu erzählen. Wie einige von euch wissen, arbeite ich entweder in einer sogenannten Housing-Unit oder in einem Outdoor-Workshop. Was genau ich in einer Housing Unit mache, werde ich euch jedoch ein anderes mal erzählen. Heute geht es um meine Arbeit im Outdoor-Workshop.

During the first period I kept on asking myself if I took the right choice, having fear to lose what I was creating in my hometown; but the exponential grow that I am feeling inside and the possibility to know a lot about this work and to go deeper in knowing myself, let me understand that I took the right decision.

Life hasn't been great lately, but sometimes you need to experience darker times to enjoy the sunshine even more.

The world is amazing, and incredibly beautiful... It's just waiting for you to come, don't be afraid to take a step, because when you do, it will make your life more meaningful. This article is for those who are afraid to travel around the world alone, this is to tell them how beautiful it is to do so at least once. All you have to do is to see the signs and if you don't find one then make it.
