When do you realize that life is passing you by very quickly and you are still getting used to life changes?

Welcome to Bonn - considered as one of Germany's oldest cities.

For one year (actually a bit more) I was doing my ESK in the office of SCI-Germany. Normally, I was an incoming placement officer for the workcamps, however my working life was very diverse and full of various tasks. My project is going to end soon, and this is the best possibility to reflect and recall all that has happened during this busy and exciting year. So, follow me on this journey!

I think the last seminar of my project was the best one. I am glad to have learnt something new and to have had fun again with the guys!

Erstes Zusammentreffen mit den anderen Freiwilligen beim Seminar und gemischte Gefühle im Hinblick auf´s Wochenende

Der Inhalt des Briefes, den ich heute in den Händen halte, rieselt nun schon seit über einer Woche langsam aber sicher in mein Bewusstsein: Ich werde ab September ein Jahr in Islands Hauptstadt Reykjavík verbringen!

Meine Erlebnisse der letzten zwei bis drei Wochen mit neuen Leuten, lustigen Aktivitäten und vielem mehr... ;)

Gipfelstürmer macht merklich Fortschritte mit der italienischen Sprache. Außerdem hat er zur Zeit mindstens eine Fortbildung in der Woche mit einer sehr netten Truppe von Zivildienstleistenden.
