How much did you pay for your holiday?
Summer is the best period to travel, but this year was different from the previous ones.
If there is a period of the year when people travel the most and go on holiday, it could be August. In some counties, especially in Europe, people go on vacation.
This year was (is) particular for sure and it affected also the way we all live and percept the travel. Coronavirus has change the feeling of freedom that many have thinking of flying around the world.
Nevertheless, since June the 15th countries have opened the borders, establishing safe measures that travellers and companies need to adopt in public transports (such as planes and trains) and in open and closed places.

People went on holiday
Surely, being closed in their own houses and not having contacts with the external world (or only through the Internet), pushed people to go on holiday, even if the situation was a bit risky.
On the one hand, many went to historical centres of old cities (mainly crowded and with narrow streets), danced in the discos, went to the concerts and populated beaches.
This put inevitably people to get in touch with each other, to have contacts.
On the other hand, many companies guaranteed that they took all the precautions to allow tourists to travel safe. That means the cleaning and decontamination of common and closed places; the presence of sanitizer in restaurants, bars, cafes and on public transports and the other mandatory actions that could be a bit different, depending on the country.
Nonetheless, controlling that in any time safe measures are respected is not always possible.
Finally, the fact that in many places the infection was decreasing made those who travelled feel safer.
What are the consequences?
It is the nature of virus: it spreads with contacts.
It seems that in some countries there is a return of the growth of contagions, but, fortunately, the situation is not as bad as it was at the beginning of the pandemic.
People know what the virus is and what the effects are. They know how to behave and what to do in case of symptoms, what number to call, that the quarantine is mandatory.
Also institutions know the virus better than months ago. They have experienced it in the hospitals, are getting to know how to face it better and better. Doctors experimented some therapy and they are all waiting for a vaccine.
What is going to happen?
Nobody can tell it.
There are some emergency measures for every sector, for instance, there is a protocol to follow if some case is found in the school, but we need to wait to know how the situation is developing.
Without stopping behaving in a responsible way!
