These days it is obvious that European cities have facilities for city cycling, and for those where they are not yet - the infrastructure of cycling mobility is developing. What are the rules that we have to remember while cycling? Here I would like to remind you about the basic rules of cycling, which have to be obligatorily followed in Germany.

Summer holidays may have suffered from the pandemic, but Germans are already out there enjoying the sun, this time in their own country.

Nowadays, with a high level of mobility, you can be within one day in another part of the planet, within a couple of hours in another city or neighbouring countries. Commute to work, business trip or just vacations and weekends is not imaginable without using transport (public or private). Whereas, with the growing concerns about climate change, we should be really critical and reflective on what we are doing and which type of transportation we are choosing.

Volunteering at sports events is a great opportunity to see how an event is organized from inside, look behind the scenes, see athletes and feel this great energetic atmosphere. In January 2019, I had a chance to volunteer at the annual international sport cycling event called “Six Day Berlin 2019”.
