Whereas modeling and fashion are not quite exactly of interest to me, using the colorful and magical pieces of Africanism knowing who made them, what they represent, and what principles they stand for; took out the Kendall Jenner inside of me to walk down the catwalk feeling like an African goddess.

In 2015 media outlets all over the world informed about the “refugee crisis” in Greece. It has been 7 years now and it seems that nobody is talking about it. A lot has happened, and new policies came into place. Since the term crisis underscores refugees or migrants as the problem, without placing the focus on the situation that is forcing them to leave their homes and the lack of policies, this reportage informs about the current situation of the humanitarian emergency in Greece and the governmental response to it.

In times of global warming, the strong connection between LGBTIQ+ activism and environmental activism has come more into focus for activists working in the community. As a young LGBTIQ+ person, it is essential to think intersectional about activism at this time when climate change is affecting the lives of millions of people around the world. After all, LGBTIQ+ people, along with other marginalized people, are among the first to be confronted with the destruction caused by climate change.

Or I attended a workshop in my organisation and instead of reflecting on the stories tied to my name, I wrote a poem. No regrets whatsoever.

Last week I had a dream. In there, me and 2 other volunteers took a bus to the nearest station and asked for tickets to the next destination somewhere. It did not matter where the bus was heading to, it just matters the urge and the need to go out, to leave off , to travel.. Dream came true. There was no bus, but a lot of hitchhiking, a boat and an island.
