The One Young World Summit 2021, Munich, 22-25 July

The annual One Young World Summit convenes the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. Delegates from 190+ countries are counselled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, amongst many other global figures.

This has been an exciting four days, networking with so many bright young leaders and change-makers who are taking action to address the major world challenges around the world, such as #sustainability, #education, #technology and #climatechange.

The 2021 Munich Summit took place at various venues across Munich City. Munich's Olympiapark became home to the key Summit days. Olympiahalle hosted the Opening Ceremony, Plenary stage content, Interactive stage content, exhibition, workshops and catering. This is the second biggest venue of the Olympic Park and has been, like the Olympic Stadium next door, a huge location for sports and culture since the Summer Olympic Games. With a capacity of up to 15,500 spectators, Munich’s biggest indoor hall is a constant location for the concerts of international top-acts in pop and rock, classic and jazz, musical and entertainment.

The Closing Ceremony took place at BMW Welt. The BMW Welt is a combined exhibition, delivery, adventure, museum and event venue, located next to the Olympic Park in the immediate vicinity of the BMW factory. It is less than a 10-minute walk from the Olympiahalle and linked via a pedestrian bridge.

Thanks to everyone who connected and big thanks to One Young World for choosing me as a Delegate and Solidarität Scholar <3. Now, I am a proud Ambassador and extremely happy to be a #OYWAmbassador. As Ambassadors, we will carry out the ideas and messages of the 2021 Summit into meaningful actions. Since together we are stronger, and with the #packmaso attitude, we are ready to solve the world's pressing challenges through collaboration.
