PRZYBYCIE
Totally overwhelmed and excited about what the future holds
Yesterday night stealing a kitchen roll from a bar I felt like I finally arrived in Poland.
I've been living in Rzeszow since Thursday, it's a pretty student city near to Krakow.
My flatmates and I live in an outlying part of Rzeszow. We share a little flat with a little kitchen, a little bathroom, a little boys' room and a girls' room. In the beginning I was shocked about the flat, it's not what I thought it would be but I adapted to the situation.
Yesterday I had my first day in the office of INPRO. It was kind of boring because I didn't have any tasks yet, so I used the time to study some Polish. It's a very difficult language and I'm bad at it but I'm getting to know the most necessary things: how to order beer, vodka, kebab; how to explain that I'm not a relative of Goebbels; how to ask people for the stuff I can't reach without help (my height: about 1,55m).
Today we'll go shopping and look for a pillow (the one on the couch which is also my bed sucks) and some baskets for my laundry and little stuff. You chickens, I finally arrived in Poland.
All in all I'm fine and naked.
