Last year when I was doing my volunteering year (ESC) I listened and learned  about Europeanvalues in the scope of  various youth exchange trainings and seminars that we had constantly.And during these seminars more than ever I was convinced that the EU is a huge institution for theeducation of humanitarian values like solidarity, anti-descrimination and human rights as basic needs of human beings, all over the world. Right now I have an opportunity not to listen but also to see all of these values in an action. And I am going to disappoint you, because there is nothing impressional to share with you.

Just a few weeks ago me and some young people were talking about EU policies in different countries and the impact of this institution on my peers in Germany, Italy and Portugal. During the volunteering Midterm seminar, that was hold by Erasmus+, we were talking about the advantages and future of the European Union. And the perceptions that I got made me think about the EU policy in my region more deeply. I wanted to figure out what exactly we get from the EU, having an agreement signed by both sides in 2017, the ”Comprehensive and enhanced agreement”.

We are completely engaged in virtual life while being at home, and most often we get the misinformation and estimation from social media, that could impact on us negatively having a criticism or intolerance towards somebody. So I am going to speak about the importance of solidarity these days, by focusing on an example, that happened in my home country/Armenia.

I just want to compare my perceptions before and after coming to Europe. To be a volunteer here probably gave me a new view/perspective on the topic or let me say figure out, what Europe is. Does it the same, that you listen from different views, or it is absolutely different think?
