fun, hot beer, friends, snow, work
I don't know where to start. Since my last blog entry so many things happened.
Around four weeks ago I went to Krakow. It's a very beautiful old town and it's really energetic and alive.
In Krakow we visited some touristic spots, we met my friends from the on-arrival training and we went out with the Erasmus students from Rzeszow. All in all, it was a nice trip and probably I will be back in Krakow on New Year's Eve.
One week later I went to the concert of Bring Me The Horizon in London! The concert was really huge and just amazing. Unfortunately someone died during the concert but we only found out about it on Instagram.
It was my first time in London, as well as my first trip alone with Alessandro. London is so beautiful, we saw many spots like the Tower Bridge or the Buckingham Palace. It was a pity seeing the Big Ben in restauration but anyway we saw a lot of other stuff.
After this trip I'm excited to go to Prague with Alessandro in February for the concert of Parkway Drive.
Then after London I had my mid-term training in Torun. Torun is a small but nice and cute city and it's popular for its ginger bread. We also had a workshop doing our own ginger bread. I was a bit confused because ginger bread in Germany is really sweet and for example covered with chocolate. In Poland ginger bread is more spicy but still delicious.
During the training we talked about our EVS till now, we discussed about problems we have, our key moments etc. We also looked at the future possibilities of volunteering, working or studying abroad or in the own country. It was very helpful for me to see which opportunities there still are.
Of course we also had a lot of fun with the other volunteers.
Last weekend we had two birthday parties: for Alessandro and Bernat. I gifted to Bernat a cannabis-shaped cake and for Alessandro I painted an umbrella writing some insider jokes on it. The birthday party was so funny. The Kazachs were too drunk. There was one girl that fell to the floor every five minutes and one guy puking everywhere and crashing our lamp (of course I had to clean the puke). I'm excited to see what our bosses say about the flat when they come for inspection because we tried fixing the lamp but we didn't really manage to.
For INPRO i finished editing my first series of "My EVS Life". Actually I don't want them to publish it because it's really bad. Bernat showed me how everything works but it was still hard and I think I don't have the right eye for it.
I'm also glad that I finally found time to write the blog article in the office.
On christmas I will go to a polish family and I'm so excited.
Pa pa!
