Which Tribe Do You Want to Belong to?
It has been one month since my departure.
Hello, my dear Estonian friends. It has been one month since my departure. Coincidentally, I and my girlfriend are also celebrating our fourth anniversary. We are both sitting on the couch sofa, dressed in our pyjamas at 12 o'clock and working. I have just finished reading an article for my master thesis and although I has not taught me much in terms of my master thesis, it was a nice read for life in general.
Over the last week I have also been encapsulated by videos from Real Social Dynamics. RSD focuses on seduction, but I look at it from a point of self-development and becoming a better person. The last 4 videos I have watched talk about success and there is a lot of priceless information included in the videos. The first point is that to succeed you have to work hard (duuuh, we know that already), but at the same time you have to change your perception of work. This means that you should not say "This sucks, I have to work again.", but rather "Awesome, I love what I am doing." You always have a choice which mentality you will employ. The second point the videos make is you should take full responsibility for your choices. In other words, own it! Do not apologise for your choices and actions. Right now, I have made a choice to write to you because I want to share this information with you. I own it, I will not apologise to anyone for doing it. The third point is the perception of the world and of yourself. Human beings are used to living in tribes. There are five levels of living in tribes:
1. You think you are pathetic and the whole world is pathetic.
2. Some people have a good life, but my life sucks.
3. I am awesome, but everybody else sucks.
4. I am amazing and the people around me are amazing, but the world is not as good as us.
5. I amazing, we are amazing, the whole world is amazing.
This is of course a broad generalisation, but it gives us food for thought. To give you an example, level 3 would be a teacher who thinks herself the best and highly competent, but does not give a BEEP about the students. Level 4 would be a group of high-school students who think they are awesome, but the other students are below them. As I was watching these videos, I suddenly realised why VitaTiim felt like home to me. I thought I was amazing, the whole VitaTiim was amazing and everybody else was consequently amazing. That is what I meant when I told you I want to take home the energy from VitaTiim.
I strongly recommend you watch the videos and learn from them. Here is the link to the first video:
