My reasons to do an EVS
The second attempt...
After school, I didn't want to go at university at once. Rather, I wanted to stay abroad for a while. During my stay abroad I wanted to learn about another culture and language, find new friends, collect great new experiences for life....
My volunteer work in the School of Peace gave me the idea to connect my stay abroad with a voluntary service. After I read up of the possibilites, I decided on the European Voluntary Service. On the one hand the EVS had a few advantages comparing with other voluntary services. On the other hand I wanted to spend my stay abroad in Europe. I liked especially one thought of the EVS: to encourage the idea of an united Europe. I think this is especially important nowadays...
Anyway, I am looking forward to our EVS-WG and the work in DKS and I just hope to have a great time in Denmark.
Hopefully it will work this time...
