Lockdown notes ep.1

Lately I've been thinking a lot about life - unused opportunities, paths of improvement and some other things that are important for me. During this pandemic, my life has changed multiple times - I spent most of the summer in Liepaja, by far my favourite place in the world as it has everything: nice sceneries, a beach packed with people, multiple basketball courts (shoutout to Kristaps Porzingis for that) and yeah, every single person I got to meet over there is just so nice and friendly. 

Sometimes I wish the summer was longer, because it was filled with fun times and memories. The more time I spend in dorms, the more I think about the past, the present and the future - it's a normal thing for people to think about stuff when they are bored, and boredom is one of the key words for this lockdown period in Ostrava. It's borderline prohibited to go outdoors for no reason (you can go for a walk in a park where it's not that crowded and basically that's it, just the essential travel, going grocery shopping, to and from work and basic needs) but I don't mind all that, even though we all had plans for Halloween. This time helps me actually tart a few new things and put a focus on stuff I need to do so my brain keeps its wrinkles.

I started writing down my thoughts quite a lot, some of them are worth publishing, while other things are just some scribbles in my notebook. Maybe down the line I will post some of my writings here, you never know. I also started listening to different types of beats trying to find a great one to catch a vibe with. 

Also, me and other volunteers that are here with me started our own Facebook page where we will post a lot of stuff about our lives here in Ostrava, so feel free to follow the page - its name is Czechtivities, and we chose the name because it represents 2 things - Czech Republic and activities. That's what brings us together at this time.

The plan is to post just random stuff (mostly fun and educational things) as well as some pilot episodes of a podcast we're trying to do. Hopefully down the line this goes into fruition.

Anyway, Halloween is coming and we are going to spen this time in dorms, just making some food and having some drinks, while enjoying the time we spend with each other - hopefully I won't cut my fingers while preparing some salad or snacks.

This has been quite a fun week so the song of the week goes to Window Shopper by 50 Cent - it just has a nice vibe to it and it keeps my blood flowing while just chilling in bed, relaxing etc.
