Kultur

The culture in Bolivia is very rich, the biggest cultur folklor demostration in Bolivia is the Carnival in Oruro, 2 days od nothing else but dancing, play with water balloons, having the greatest time of your life! The dancers have to dance four km and when they finish the four km they go to the church of Socavon to thank the Virgin Mary, our Carnival is very religious, it’s about faith, about feel proud of being Bolivian. We have so many things that demostrate our culture but I don´t think I´ll have the space to say everything that I could say about the culture in my country.

Sightseeing

The greatest sightseeing are deffinetly Los Yungas in La Paz, El Illimani in La Paz, the view from a high placebo of La Paz, the Salar in Uyuni, the Amazonas in Santa Cruz, the Titicaca Lake in La Paz, the Cristo de la Concordia in Cochabamba, Toro Toro (prehistoric foot prints), etc....

Ausgehen

In La Paz "ttkos" its a great place! (Great music like Bob Marley, The Beatles, Placebo, Nirvana, Latin, Rock, etc...) Then "La Parada" another great place were you can sit with your friends have a drink and play cards. "Cacho" (a dies game): listen really good music (no reggaeton or salsa or merenge; thank God lol.)In Santa Cruz: “Equipetrol” is the name of a street full of clubs bars pubs. In Oruro: "Sounder" is a big place with 4 or 5 (I can´t remember lol) different areas with all types of music. And "Dinky Mania": another very famous club in Oruro. I could keep going but I don´t have that much space lol.

Musik

The best music in Bolivia are the Bolivian rock and the best bands right now are: Octavia, Dezaire, Unit, Maldita Jakeca, Hate, Alcoholika La Christo, just to name a few. This bands play from rock pop, latin rock, indie rock, industrial metal, to metal. So you´ll see that there’s a band for every taste.

Essen

This I’m really telling the true! The best food is the Bolivian food and I’m not just saying this cuz in bolivian but cuz a lot of my friends from germany, usa, france, argentina, chile, mexico, japan, said so... One of the most famous foods is the SALTEÑA; it´s amazing!!! I wish I had one right now lol, then we have Silpancho, a typical food from Cochabamba, and well all the Bolivian food its great lol.

Sport

In Bolivia the biggest sport is soccer.

Shopping

Ok this is a great thing about Bolivia that i couldn´t find here in Germany... Good market places cuz in Bolivia you can find clothes for every pocket...and of good quality. You can find everything from all the world and not just clothes but everything, something that I don´t find here in Germany. (So it´s hard for me to get used to some things.)
