Italien entdecken: Tag 6
A day dedicated to paint an Italian flag!
My project "Italien entdecken" goes on. It is grateful receiving so many positive feedback by my kids. This time I decided to organize something "more artistic" with them as in the last episodes we prepared traditional food or learnt how to count and how to say some simple words in my language.
Well, this time my goal was to make together with them an Italian flag. See, the colors are really simple as well as its shape: three stripes, one green, one white, one red. I took the biggest white paper I could find at work and then I divided it into three sections. I asked my kids to give me one hand in order to put on it a color. They could choose between green and red. Once ainted the hand, I led them towards the paper, where they left their footprint. Kids were happy to participate, even for gathering their mates in order to color this flag.
The result really satisfied me. This Italian flag made of kids' hands represents a sort of track of my presence in their school. It seems it says: Giulia was here. As days pass by, and the end of my project is coming, leaving good memories of me is a mission.
