Die Luft ist raus

...aus meinem Fahrradreifen. Und auch nur dort!
After four months in Dublin.. many things happened! That's for sure! It's hard to share them, as they are little things or things that just mean something to you if you experienced them! That's as well the main problem when you arrive back home and all your friends are asking - how was it? Well I will try again to give you a little glimpse into my life here...
Finally I was successful in making my tyre of my bike flat. It was a wonder that it lasted so long, because there is everywhere glass on the street. So now I have to figure out how I can repair it immediately because it is really annoying first to walk 30 minutes in the rain to the bus station and than wait another 30 minutes or more for the bus and than to pay for the bus:-( Even when it snowed yesterday (YES snow in Ireland!) and it is fucking freezing, I prefer my bike! And I had exciting meetings with my little bike. Once I drove home in the night from a pub. I met a guy who carried a broken bike on his shoulder. I felt so pity for him, that I asked: “Bad luck today?" He didn't understand because he just found the bike on the street and was really happy about it! Well and he was French and has just little english skills. But that is how I meet people, most time coincidence and than you end up on different parties and than somebody recognize somebody you know (Dublin is so small;-) and than you know another one and here we go,...you have a bunch of people to meet! That's fun! For Easter - as you perhaps already know - I will make a trip to Edinburgh! Juhu! With Marine the french Volunteer in my project and Marieke from Belgium. Anyway, I work a lot, but it is nice! I know now most of the Kids and Youngsters with whom I work and that makes it very enjoyable! I got more Trainings in: Child protection, Drug awareness - very interesting - and international programs. But I could resist till now to work for my thesis! I thought about to longer my stay and I still would, but Berlin and my University is calling - I have things to do at home. I'm looking foreword and as well I will be sad. That's how it is. But to stay longer wouldn't make it better!
