Change of My Life :)

Dear my lovely teacher;

My changing story started when I was high school as you know.  I did not have an opportunity about going abroad or interact with somebody until third class of my high school. I was growing my small city with unaware huge global world. Also I did not know any information about other people’s life in other countries.

One day you brought a girl who came from Ukraine in our class. She talked about their cultural species and their country’s features. I was so excited. It was so interesting for me. I realized that there are lots of people live in our world but we did not know any different culture. We only keep on our cultural features. We had an opportunity to connect one of them at that time. I expressed my feelings to you.

After that experience, you started one of the important processes of my life. You organized a youth project for your students. An association invite us from Poland. We met many of people from different countries. We faced different cultures and variety of activities. We gained lots of friends who we still keep in touch. It was the amazing experience for all of us. I realized that even if we came from different regions or effected from different cultures, we can unify in common point which is humanity. Even if we came from different countries, we have somethings to share each other. The project proved this to me and other students. We achieved that experience thanks to you. Because you care about all of our needs during the project time. You tried to supply them.  I was little bit nervous about lack of language problem before to going project. However, you encouraged me to cope with this issue. You always stand us mentally and spiritually. Thanks to you we have amazing experiences with our international friends

This international European project became a start point for me. After that time, I tried to find new European projects. I membered lots of associations and I did many voluntary works in there. These experiences are created new perspective in my mind. I can look at in global perspective anymore. It led to realizing new points which I could not catch before. I think this perspective is the best way to understand world. I achieved that with your helps. This is so important thing that I could not forget forever.

The only minus point you gained me is travel addiction :)  I did not know that travel is dangerous thing, it may cause addiction.  Now, I am addicted to travel. I could not think my rest of life without roads. It is the piece of my heart and my mind anymore. I am trying to make travel my whole holidays and I search plane tickets my whole year. Because when I make travel, I meet new people and I see new places. I think it makes me open minded. I can feel freedom in my travels. It reminds me that life is beautiful and it is worth living.

Now, I visited more than 12 countries in 3 years. I learned one different language and I am trying to learn 2 more languages. I participated 2 more European project. I also created my own project about that. I will continue to learning process and travelling during rest of my life. You have huge impact to changing my life in that way. For all effects I want to say “Thank you so much” from deep of my heart. I am lucky to have a teacher like you. I think every student need to a teacher like you.
