6 out of 6.
We’ve been 5 out of 6 participants till now. That just changed. The team is full, wuhu!
The last couple of days have been good. I’ve met the youth groups I’ll be part of. Had dinner with another family from my church. Learned lots of helpful things, met with my lovely mentor, visited the vegan café in the town centre (had the best Chai Latte ever) and found friends! It’s very challenging to travel by yourself, living in a different country with different people, speaking a language that is not your mother tongue and getting used to this surrounding. But I feel like I have people who always got my back, support me where they can and are always open to talk about anything. Last weekend, on Saturday, we drove to Oxford for the so called “Oxtoberfest”. It’s in Oxford and in October.. That makes it“OXtober”. Creative isn’t it? Nevermind. It’s were teenagers meet other teenagers in their age group around Oxford and take the initiative to get to know them. In the evening we had a worship service, which was really cool and deep at the same time! Set a good atmosphere to think about certain thinks & faith in general. Back to the main topic: Our team is full now! We had a participant that couldn’t join us when we started on the 6th of September, because of some difficulties, but there he is now. Making our team complete. Six out of six. It’s actually very good to have him. Such a valuable addition to our team! Let the journey beeeeegin, with a full team, shall we?
