#4 Visiting a former EVS in Würzburg!
‘Oh, mein Gott, Franzi, it’s so good to see you!’ – I shouted enthusiastically when I saw my friend at Würzburg Hauptbahnhof last weekend. After 2 years we met again.
Franzi was doing EVS in southern Poland. She was one of many volunteers who was telling how cool EVS is and encouraging me to go. And I did what they told me to do, haha. And since I was chosen for a project in Germany and couldn’t benefit from this chance of meeting Franzi in Deutschland. I bought the Flixbus ticket and went from Berlin to Würzburg where my friend lives. Six hours and I was there.
We had incredible memories together. We could share it, remind ourselves of funny moments we had when partying in Poland during Franzi’s project while walking around beautiful streets of Würzburg. It’s a fantastic city – like Prague and Vienna in one. The bridge Alte Mainbrücke in Würzburg is like Karluv Most in Czech Republic’s capital and the palace Residence there is like Schonbrunn Palace in Austrian Hauptstadt.
I spent the whole weekend in Würzburg, drank famous Franken wine and came back to Berlin with an amazing memories from Bayern. Yes, Bayern. I’ll be there again. In May I go to München!
