How brave are you?

People tell me very often that I am brave to stand up and speak against climate change, against our coal policy and against the people’s way of living. But can you call something courageous which is in no way dangerous for your own self? Can you call something courageous if it is not forbidden and even supported?

What I learned today for myself: that is not courage. I got to know people who are supressed by the government due to what they are trying to say, who are, if they still fight, harassed and treated inhumanely. I got to know people who will not stop to be silent no matter what.

Momentarily Poland´s government is broken. And it is not the only country. However, it is in a way the country where my heart lies and my passion. And I do not want to watch this culture and the people in it falling into the hands of propaganda and harassment.

So, I ask you Poland?
