EVS on arrival Seminar

So on the 19\11\17 i travelled to Magdeburg for my first seminar. I was very worried about going because I'm not used to the trains and im not very confident with meeting new people. However when i got off the train and got to the bus stop, i heard other people talking about there EVS, so i thought i would introduce myself. They were all very welcoming and kind. As we got on the bus we met more poeple that was going on the seminar too. At this point i felt much happier that i was going to be spending one week with these guys. As we arrived at the seminar more and more people came. There were 20 EVS volunteers and within the group there was 17 different countries. As the week went by i met some amazing pictures and over came some of my fears. One of my fears was that i wouldn't sing infront of people but many people supported us all. One of our tasks was to explore Magdeburg, i was in a group with Yasmin, Claudi, Leon and Sun. We came up with the idea to sing in the city to earn our dinner money however because it was rush hour and many people wanted to get home as it was cold as well, we didnt earn much but the experience was amazing! I would defiantly do this again! It came to the end of the week and it was so sad leaving everyone but we had mae a whatsapp group and we are all keeping in contact and are going to meet up in berlin some time.
