Changes
I'm in the middle of my project, what did I learn?
It's incredible to see how fast time is passing for me, I have been already here in Germany since 5 months and I'm in the middle of my project.
Last week I had a kind of seminar with the volunteers of my organization and we talked about our own ESC since now. I'd realize how much changes I made. I still remember how scared I was when I came here the first day because everything was new, the people, the place, the country. And now if I look at myself I can already see how much I have grown up and I can be sure saying to myself that I'm brave for what I'm doing. By keeping to stay out of my comfort zone I started to make little changes in my way of acting and also thinking. One thing that I had learned is to ask when there's a problem or something that I don't really understand and that's a really important point for myself because I used to be the type of person who always wait before asking That's a change I'm really proud of. Something else? I learned that sometimes we just need to change our perspective of things and that we need to act for seeing changes. I also learned how to play the guitar thanks to a girl who's working in the youth center of my project and I'm very happy about it.
I started this new year with a lot of enthusiasm and joy about this incredible opportunity that I choose to live. I'm happy because I'm working on myself, I'm growing up, I can be a support for other people and because I can seriously live a lot of great experience thanks by ESC projects. And right now I'm curious about what will happen the next months.
